GOOD v.s. EVIL


 
Good design features are essential when you are making a website, advertisement, or even a blogging page. Here are a few tips for having a great design features:

Text is very important. You want to be sure that the background does not interrupt the text, that the text is big enough to read, that the information is clear, and that columns of text are narrower to make reading easier on the screen.


Be sure that navigation buttons and bars are easy to understand and use and are consistent througout the website.


Make sure link colors coordinate with page colors and are underlined so they are instantly clear to the visitor


Ensure that buttons are not big, every graphic link has a matching text link, and that animated graphics turn off by themselves.


Bad design features can make your website look dorky and result in making user shy away from your page. Here are a few tips to steer clear of:

 

Make sure you try not to use dark backgrounds. Your text should be large enough for the user to read but not too big.


Ensure that your page does not have any useless and uneccessary graphics. Animations can make a page look horrible if they are not done correctly. Steer clear of clutter!
